Unlike conventional UV filters coated by electron beam deposition, these UV shortpass filters fulfill higher transmission in passband, longer blocking range (~700nm), and environmental durability simultaneously just on monolithic fused silica substrates thanks to the state-of-the-art magnetron sputtering technology.
