Magnetron sputtering technology enables unprecedented UV filter performance.
Asahi was successful in developing the UV shortpass filters that have high transmission in UV region (240 nm ~ 400 nm) and
block visible spectrum up to 700 nm by the state-of-the-art magnetron sputtering technology.
Unlike the UV filters coated by
conventional electron beam deposition, our new filters have excellent environmental durability even in high humidity.
